The fasteners sector, to which Zirve Cıvata A.Ş contributes with the aim of exporting in 5 continents, has raised its export target.
The sector, which exports to 177 countries, will close the year with 25 percent growth with 500 million dollars, and the target of the sector is to reach 1.5 billion dollars in 2023. Mustafa Tecdelioğlu, President of the Fasteners Industrialists and Businessmen's Association (BESİAD), pointed out that while exports are increasing, they are reducing imports, and that foreign dependency is gradually decreasing. The fasteners sector, which produces parts of critical importance for the industry such as bolts, nuts, screws, washers, rivets and washers, held its fourth workshop with the intense participation of the sector and association members. Making an evaluation about the sector, Mustafa Tecdelioğlu, President of BESİAD, said that Turkey is the third largest producer in Europe after Italy and Germany. Stating that the market size reached 1 million tons when the import and export figures are collected, Tecdelioğlu emphasized that the sector has a clear path.
